About Andrés Astorga AKA DJ Trujillo

After shaking the electronic musical scene at his home turf, Venezuela, during the past few years, Andrés Astorga, better known as Trujillo, dedicated himself to consolidate several musical projects as part of an rising and prolific facet as musician/dj/producer.

After a brief exile in the city of London during the years 2003-2005 and the connections with it sounds, he returned to his homeland with a fresh vision. Craftsman of the impossible and cultural vehicle of his generation: DJ, remixer, classifier and inexhaustible investigator of trends.

His sound has led him to collaborate with European labels: Last year he released his first vinyl, “Baby You’re Still the Same” under the Label aPersonal Music with remixes from Mark E and Social Disco Club. This year hits back with the vinyl “Fruit Punch” with remixes from Eddie C and Toby Tobias reaching the number one spot on the singles chart of www.Junodownload.com

Waiting for upcoming releases on top Slomo & Disco labels of Europe and the release of his first solo album ‘Daltonic Now!’, Trujillo seems to be in the most prolific moment of his career; through his eyes one can see his iris spinning like a disco ball.
